The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2024-2DB40-1AA0 is a Size S0 power contactor with a 24 VDC magnet coil and spring-type terminals, rated for 1 000 operating cycles per hour in AC-3 duty (motor switching). Its 45 mm width and 102 mm height fit standard 35 mm DIN rail enclosures; the 107 mm depth leaves room for wiring ducts in shallow backboxes. The coil holds at 24 VDC nominal, with pickup at 0.8 x rated and dropout at 1.1 x rated — a standard 24 VDC control supply drives it reliably.
Mounting and Clearance
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in a standing position on a horizontal surface. Minimum clearances: 10 mm upwards, downwards, and forwards; 6 mm at the side — plan panel layout accordingly for heat dissipation and arc containment.
