Mounting and clearance
The 3RT2024-2EL20-1AA0: Fastens with screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail (DIN EN 60715). Mounting position is standing on a horizontal surface. Clearance needs: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. The 97 mm depth, 102 mm height, and 45 mm width fit standard S0 panel cutouts.
Wire range and auxiliary ratings
Accepts solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm² (single conductor) or 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) for the main contacts. Auxiliary switch is present on this variant. The 24 V rated auxiliary contact carries 10 A; at 48 V it carries 2 A, at 110 V it carries 1 A, at 230 V it carries 0.3 A, and at 400 V it carries 3 A. Arcing time is 10 to 10 ms at AC.
Operating conditions and mechanical life
Rated for operation from -25 to +60 °C; storage from -55 to +80 °C. Mechanical life of the contactor typical is 10,000,000 operations. Maximum switching frequency at AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e is 1,000 1/h; at AC-4 it is 300 1/h.
