It is a current-production part. The S0 frame is the workhorse footprint for motor loads up to around 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-3, though the exact rating depends on the coil voltage variant.
Width is 45 mm, depth 141 mm, height 85 mm. That depth is the dimension that catches people — it's deeper than a typical 45 mm-wide contactor, so check the gland plate clearance if you're retrofitting into a shallow enclosure. That side clearance is tight — you can pack these on a DIN rail with 6 mm between units, but verify heat dissipation if you're running near the thermal limit in a sealed cabinet. Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², or 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for daisy-chaining. The auxiliary switch is not included — this is the base contactor, no aux block fitted.
Switching performance and thermal limits
Maximum switching rate at AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty is 1 000 operations per hour. At AC-4 (plugging/reversing/inching) it drops to 300 1/h — that's the wear limit for severe duty cycles. Arcing time is 10 to 10 ms, consistent across the range.
