SIRIUS Size S0 Power Contactor — 24 VDC Coil, Screw Terminals
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2025-1CL24-3MA0 is a Size S0 power contactor with a 24 VDC coil and screw-type terminals for the magnet coil. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, fitting into standard control-panel layouts. The contactor is rated for up to 1000 switching cycles per hour under AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, and 300 cycles per hour under AC-4 — the heavier AC-4 rate matters for inching or plugging applications where the contacts make and break under load more frequently. The auxiliary contact block carries ratings across a range of voltages: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. These are the make/break capacities for the auxiliary circuit — useful when sizing the control transformer or verifying the pilot devices on the same circuit.
Mounting and Wiring
The contactor accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm² for the main circuit, and 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for the auxiliary circuit. Main-contact screw torque is 16 to 8 Nm. The mounting position is flexible: +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface, and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5° on a vertical surface. Clearances required: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side — these are the minimum air gaps for heat dissipation and arc containment.
