It mounts onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 using screw or snap-on fastening, and the mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface plus +/-22.5° tilt forward and backward — useful when panel layout forces an unconventional orientation. The coil holds at 24 V nominal; the initial operating value is 0.8 of rated and the full-scale value is 1.1. Arcing time runs 10 to 10 ms, and the DC operating time is 15 to 18 ms.
Rated for 1 000 operations per hour in AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, and 300 operations per hour in AC-4. DC switching capability is specified per voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. For motor loads on single-phase 230 V, the rating is 3 hp. These are the numbers that determine whether this contactor handles your DC brake coil or small DC motor without welding the contacts.
Wire Sizing and Clearances
Main contacts accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², and the auxiliary circuit (if you add one later) takes 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²).
