SIRIUS S0 power contactor, 24 VDC coil — panel integration note
The Siemens 3RT2025-1FB48-0ME2-ZX95 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the S0 frame size, designed for screw and snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The 24 VDC coil draws its rated pickup at 0.8 × Uc (19.2 V) and holds at the full-scale 1.1 × Uc (26.4 V), with a dropout time of 15 to 17.5 ms on DC. For a line-down swap, verify the existing panel has the S0 footprint — 85 mm height, 45 mm width, 151 mm depth — and that the screw-type coil terminals match your control wiring.
Switching ratings and duty-cycle limits
The main contact is rated for AC-1 resistive loads at 1,000 operating cycles per hour maximum, and AC-3 motor switching at the same 1,000 ops/h. For AC-4 (inching/plugging) duty, the maximum rate drops to 300 ops/h — exceeding that accelerates contact wear. The DC switching capability is specified per voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V. For motor loads, the contactor is rated 3 hp at 230 V. The mechanical life is 10 million cycles typical.
Wiring and clearance requirements
Main circuit terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm². Auxiliary terminals (not fitted on this variant — no auxiliary switch) accept 2 × (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2 × (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). Minimum clearances around the contactor: 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, and 6 mm at the sides. The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward.
