Mounting is via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715, with the mounting position allowing ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward.
Maximum switching frequency varies by duty category: 1,000 cycles per hour at AC-1 (resistive load), 750 cycles/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250 cycles/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also caps at 750 cycles/h. Rated operational current at 24 V is 6 A; at 48 V and 60 V it drops to 2 A; at 110 V it is 1 A; at 125 V it is 0.9 A; at 220 V it is 0.3 A; at 400 V it is 3 A; at 440 V it is 0.6 A. The contactor also carries a 3 hp rating at 230 V. Arcing time is specified at 10 to 10 ms, and the contactor can handle AC arcing times of 4 to 16 ms.
Wiring and Clearance
For auxiliary circuits, two conductors of 0.5 to 1.5 mm² or 0.75 to 2.5 mm² can be terminated per clamp. These are the minimum air gaps required around the contactor for proper heat dissipation and arc containment.
