Switching Capacity and Duty Cycle
The main contacts are rated for AC-1 (resistive) at up to 1 000 cycles/h, AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running) at 750 cycles/h, and AC-4 (plugging/inching) at 250 cycles/h. The arcing time is 10 ms. Switching capacity at 24 VDC is 6 A; at 230 VAC it is rated for 3 hp. At 400 VAC the rated operational current is 3 A. These numbers define the load envelope — match them to your motor nameplate or resistive load curve.
The typical mechanical life of the contactor is 10 million operations. No auxiliary switch is included on this base variant — if you need auxiliary contacts for status feedback, they must be added separately.
