SIRIUS Size S0 power contactor — 3RT2026-1AN20
The Siemens 3RT2026-1AN20 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the Size S0 frame, designed for switching motor and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a 45 mm width that fits standard enclosure fill patterns. The coil is 24 VDC with screw-type terminals, and the main contacts are rated for AC-3 duty at 750 switching cycles per hour maximum — suitable for frequent motor starting in conveyor, pump, or fan applications. Mechanical endurance is rated at 10 million operations typical.
Duty-cycle and switching frequency
Switching frequency varies by duty class: AC-1 (resistive) allows up to 1,000 operations per hour, AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting) both cap at 750/h, and AC-4 (plugging/inching) at 250/h. The AC-3e rating also sits at 750/h. These limits govern thermal rise in the contactor — exceeding them in a high-duty application will accelerate contact wear.
Auxiliary contact ratings
An auxiliary switch is integrated. Its rated current at 24 V is 10 A, dropping to 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. These values define the signal-level switching capability for interlocking or PLC input circuits.
Mounting and clearances
Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and tilt forward/backward by ±22.5°. Required clearance distances: 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, and 6 mm at the side. These ensure arc flash and heat dissipation margins in a crowded DIN-rail panel.
Wire range and terminal type
Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm². For auxiliary circuits, the terminal accepts 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). The coil uses screw-type terminals — no spring-cage option on this variant.
Environmental range
Operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. The storage limit governs handling and warehousing, not running conditions.
