What This Contactor Delivers
The Siemens 3RT2026-1AP00-ZX95 is a SIRIUS power contactor in Size S0, designed for switching motor loads and resistive circuits in control panels. It carries a 21 A rating at 480 V and a 3 hp rating at 230 V, with an auxiliary switch built in. Mounting is via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward.
Ratings That Decide the Fit
Motor-duty current is the headline: 21 A at 480 V and 3 hp at 230 V tell you it handles a 3 hp motor on 230 V or roughly a 10–15 A motor load on 480 V. For control circuits, the auxiliary contacts are rated 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V. Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical. Electrical endurance varies by duty: 1000 operations/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). Wire range accepts 1–10 mm² solid or stranded for the power circuit; auxiliary terminals handle 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²). Main contact size is 16–8. Operating temperature is -25 to +60 °C; storage goes from -55 to +80 °C.
Panel Integration
Snaps onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail (DIN EN 60715) or screws directly to a backplate. The S0 footprint — 45 mm wide, 85 mm tall, 97 mm deep — fits typical 8-module enclosures. Minimum clearances: 10 mm upwards/downwards/forwards, 6 mm at the sides.
