What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RT2026-1AT60 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S0 frame size, designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 using either screw fixing or snap-on, and can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward. The auxiliary contact block is rated 10 A at 24 V and 21 A at 480 V, so it handles both low-voltage control signals and higher-voltage interlocking on the same contact set.
Integration into a panel
The S0 frame measures 45 mm wide by 85 mm high by 97 mm deep, so it fits a standard 45 mm DIN-rail slot with 6 mm clearance at the side and 10 mm clearance in all other directions. Wire termination uses screw-type terminals on the magnet coil and accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², or two conductors of 0.5 to 2.5 mm². Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, with storage from -55 to +80 °C, so it survives the steam and the chemicals in a mill environment as long as the panel stays within those limits.
