What it is and where it fits
The Siemens 3RT2026-1BB48-0ME0-ZX95 is a SIRIUS S0-frame power contactor built for switching motor loads and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It carries a 24 VDC coil and mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a compact footprint of 45 mm wide by 85 mm tall by 151 mm deep.
Key ratings and what they mean for your panel
The 24 VDC coil draws 6 A at rated value, so the control transformer or power supply feeding this contactor needs to handle that inrush without dropping below the pickup voltage. The contactor is rated for switching frequencies up to 1 000 cycles per hour in AC-1 resistive duty, 750 in AC-2 and AC-3 motor duty, and 250 in AC-4 plugging/reversing — that 750 c/h AC-3 figure is the one to size for a standard conveyor or pump motor start. Operating altitude maxes out at 2 000 m without derating.
Mounting and clearances
Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, so you can orient it to fit tight gland-plate layouts. Required clearances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. Screw terminals accept 1 to 10 mm² solid or stranded copper — no special crimp tool needed for the heavier wire. The enclosure carries IP20 on the front and at the terminals, meaning it's protected against finger contact but not washdown; keep it inside the panel.
