The Siemens 3RT2026-1BG44 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S0 frame size, 45 mm wide, with screw-type terminals on the magnet coil. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward — useful when fitting into a crowded panel where orientation isn't fixed.
Switching duty and what the ratings mean
Rated for AC-3 motor switching at up to 750 cycles per hour, and AC-4 (inching/plugging) at 250 cycles per hour. That 750/h AC-3 figure is the maximum mechanical capability under load; for a conveyor or pump cycling every few seconds it will hold up, but for continuous high-speed jogging you need to stay under the AC-4 limit. The arcing time is 10–10 ms, consistent across the switching range. Operating temperature range is –25 to +60 °C, storage from –55 to +80 °C. The storage limit is for handling and shipping, not running — if the panel sits in an unheated warehouse overnight, the contactor will be fine as long as it's not energized below –25 °C.
Mounting and wiring
Main contact wire range accepts solid or stranded 1–10 mm²; auxiliary contacts take 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²). Clearance to adjacent devices: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. That 151 mm depth means it will sit flush with most 200 mm deep enclosures, but check the gland plate clearance if the panel is shallow.
