No surprises for a compliance review.
In a wind turbine controls cabinet, this contactor typically switches the pitch-motor contactor or the yaw-drive contactor — loads that see frequent starts and stops under vibration. The solid-state operating mechanism and varistor are a good match for the DC bus common in pitch systems; the varistor clamps the coil flyback that can couple noise into the pitch controller's 24 V DC supply. No up-tower swaps if you size it right: the 25 A AC-3 rating leaves headroom for a 11 kW motor that's actually drawing 18 A running, so the contacts stay cool even in a hot nacelle in summer.
