What This Part Is and Where It Fits
The Siemens 3RT2026-2AL20-ZX95 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the Size S0 frame, designed for switching motor loads in control panels. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 with either screw fixing or snap-on — the same footprint as the rest of the S0 family, so it drops into existing panel layouts without re-drilling. The spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², and dual 0.5 to 2.5 mm² conductors, which saves time on the wireman's side — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push. Mechanical life is rated at 10 million cycles typical, and the operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C covers most indoor panel environments without derating concerns.
Mounting and Clearance Notes
The contactor measures 45 mm wide, 102 mm high, and 97 mm deep — the S0 envelope is standard across the SIRIUS line, so busbar systems and auxiliary contact blocks designed for S0 fit without adapters. Minimum clearance to adjacent components: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm to the side. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5°, which helps when the panel layout is tight.
Switching Capacity and Duty Cycles
The contactor carries an auxiliary switch as standard. For the main contacts, rated operational currents at various voltages are specified: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. At 230 V it is rated for 3 hp motor load. Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 1000 operations per hour in AC-1 (resistive), 750/h in AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250/h in AC-4 (plugging/reversing). The AC-3e rating matches the AC-3 figure at 750/h. Arcing time on AC is 4 to 16 ms, with a typical value of 10 ms. Storage temperature range is -55 to +80 °C.
