The spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², and dual 0.5 to 2.5 mm² conductors, which saves time on the wireman's side — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push.
Mounting and Clearance Notes
The contactor measures 45 mm wide, 102 mm high, and 97 mm deep — the S0 envelope is standard across the SIRIUS line, so busbar systems and auxiliary contact blocks designed for S0 fit without adapters.
Switching Capacity and Duty Cycles
The contactor carries an auxiliary switch as standard. For the main contacts, rated operational currents at various voltages are specified: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. At 230 V it is rated for 3 hp motor load. Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 1000 operations per hour in AC-1 (resistive), 750/h in AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250/h in AC-4 (plugging/reversing). The AC-3e rating matches the AC-3 figure at 750/h. Arcing time on AC is 4 to 16 ms, with a typical value of 10 ms.
