What It Is & What It Does
The 3RT2026-2BB44-ZX95 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S0, designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in control panels. The 24 VDC coil pulls in at 0.8 of rated voltage and drops out at 1.1 of rated voltage — standard pickup/dropout margins for this class. Spring-type terminals on the magnet coil mean no screw torque to verify, which speeds up panel wiring.
Key Ratings & What They Mean for Fit
Rated operational current is 6 A at 24 V — that's the continuous current the main contacts carry at that coil voltage. For motor duty (AC-3), it's rated for 750 switching cycles per hour maximum; for resistive loads (AC-1), up to 1000 cycles per hour. The arcing time is a tight 10 ms, which limits contact erosion during break.
Mounting & Clearances
Mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface, and tilted forward/backward by ±22.5°. Minimum clearances to adjacent parts: 10 mm upwards, forwards, and downwards; 6 mm at the side. That 6 mm side gap is tight — factor it into your DIN rail layout if you're stacking multiple contactors.
Terminal Capacity & Mechanical Life
Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm². For the coil terminals, use 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded. Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical — that's the wear-out floor before you'd see a welded contact or coil failure in high-cycle applications.
Environmental Range
Operates from -25 to +60 °C, stores from -55 to +80 °C. The storage range is wider than the operating range — that's typical for handling and warehousing, not for running the coil at those extremes.
