Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2026-2BF44 is an S0-frame power contactor with a 110 V coil and spring-type terminals. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface plus +/-22.5° tilt forward and backward — useful when fitting into tight panel layouts.
Duty and switching frequency
Switching frequency depends on the duty class: 1 000 cycles/hour at AC-1 maximum, 750 cycles/hour at AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e maximum, and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 maximum. For motor starting (AC-3), 750 ops/hour is typical for a contactor this size — enough for conveyor or pump cycling but not for high-speed jogging.
The auxiliary contacts are rated for 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V. At 400 V the rating is 3 A. The 110 V coil matches the auxiliary contact rating at that voltage — one less thing to derate in the control circuit.
The S0 frame measures 45 mm wide, 102 mm tall, and 154 mm deep. Spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², or two conductors of 0.5 to 2.5 mm².
