Siemens 3RT2026-2NF30 SIRIUS Power Contactor — Size S0, Spring-Terminal, 95-130 V Coil
The Siemens 3RT2026-2NF30 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the Size S0 frame, built for motor switching and resistive loads in control panels. It uses spring-type terminals on the coil and main contacts, and mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The coil is rated 95-130 V AC, with an inrush peak of 15 A and a holding dropout below about 0.7 of rated value. Size S0 means a 45 mm wide, 102 mm tall, 107 mm deep footprint — a standard panel cutout that shares a common hole pattern with other S0 contactors and overload relays in the SIRIUS family. The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Wire range on the power circuit accepts 1-10 mm² solid or stranded; auxiliary contacts take 2x 0.5-2.5 mm². The contactor includes an auxiliary switch as standard.
Duty Ratings and Switching Frequency
The 3RT2026-2NF30 is rated for different switching frequencies depending on the load duty. At AC-1 (resistive loads) it manages up to 1,000 operations per hour. AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting, slip-ring and squirrel-cage) both rate at 750 ops/h. AC-4 (plugging, inching) drops to 250 ops/h. The AC-3e rating also sits at 750 ops/h. Arcing time is tight at 10 ms, and the make/break times for both AC and DC coils are in the 30-50 ms range — fast enough for most sequencing but worth noting if you're coordinating with a PLC scan cycle.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings
The built-in auxiliary switch is rated 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, and 1 A at 110 V — all at the rated AC values. That covers typical control circuit voltages in industrial panels.
Environmental and Mechanical Life
Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage from -55 to +80 °C. The contactor is rated for 10 million mechanical operations typical. Clearances: 10 mm upwards, downwards, and forwards; 6 mm at the sides.
