The screw-type terminals on the magnet coil accept solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², with dual-wire capability for 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²).
Switching duty and mechanical endurance
Maximum switching frequency depends on the utilization category: 1 000 cycles/h under AC-1 (resistive loads), 750 cycles/h under AC-2 and AC-3 (slip-ring and squirrel-cage motors), and 250 cycles/h under AC-4 (plugging and inching). AC-3e duty also permits 750 cycles/h. Arcing time is specified at 10 to 10 ms, with an arcing duration at AC of 4 to 16 ms. The auxiliary switch is included as standard.
Auxiliary contacts carry rated currents that drop with voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. At 400 V the rating is 3 A. A 230 V rating is given as 5 hp, indicating motor load capability on the auxiliary side.

These spacings ensure proper arc quenching and heat dissipation when the contactor is mounted in a dense panel.
