Integrator note — SIRIUS S0 power contactor, 24 VDC coil
The 3RT2027-1FB48-0ME1-ZX95 is a Siemens SIRIUS power contactor in size S0, rated for 27 A at 480 V and controlled by a 24 VDC coil. It mounts via screw and snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a 45 mm width that fits standard panel spacing. No auxiliary switch is included on this variant — plan for a separate block if you need N/O or N/C feedback.
Clearance and wiring constraints
Clearance around the contactor is tight: 10 mm upwards, forwards, and downwards, and only 6 mm at the side. That 6 mm side gap is the binding constraint — adjacent components on the DIN rail must respect it to avoid arc flash or heat buildup. Terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², which covers most motor-circuit conductors up to the 27 A rating.
Switching performance and mechanical life
Arcing time is a consistent 10 ms, and the DC operating time (coil pickup + dropout) spans 15 to 17.5 ms — useful for timing coordination in sequential-start schemes. Mechanical life is typical at 10 million operations, so this contactor is suited for frequent cycling in conveyor or pump applications, not just infrequent isolation.
