It fastens by screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface plus ±22.5° tilt forward and backward — useful when the panel layout forces an unusual orientation.
Duty-cycle capability and switching ratings
Maximum operating cycles per hour vary by duty class: 1 000/h at AC-1 (resistive loads), 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (slip-ring and squirrel-cage motors), and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging, inching). The AC-3e rating also holds at 750/h. For DC switching, the contactor is rated at 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V — these are the values that govern fit for a DC load circuit, not the AC motor rating.
Thermal limits and mechanical endurance
The contactor is rated for 10 000 000 mechanical operations typical. Arcing time is 10 to 10 ms. The coil hold-in range is 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated value (24 V).
Dimensions, clearances, and wiring
Width 45 mm, height 85 mm, depth 151 mm. Accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm² on the main contacts, and 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for auxiliary circuits. No auxiliary switch is fitted as standard.
