The 3RT2027-2AF04: The coil is 24 VDC (shows a 6 A DC switching rating at 24 V), and the contactor uses spring-type terminals — cage-clamp style, not screw. That means no retorquing during PM and faster wiring on the panel bench. Accepts solid or stranded 1…10 mm², with a second wire entry for 2x 0.5…2.5 mm².
That means it fits in a deep enclosure or a shallow one — the orientation won't force a panel re-layout. The 144 mm depth and 102 mm height are the dimensions that matter when you're stacking contactors under a bus bar or above a terminal block.
Switching capacity and mechanical life
Rated for 10,000,000 mechanical operations typical. Arcing time is 10…10 ms. Operating temperature range -25…+60 °C; storage -55…+80 °C. DC switching ratings are provided for 24 V (6 A), 48 V (2 A), 60 V (2 A), 110 V (1 A), 125 V (0.9 A), 220 V (0.3 A), and 440 V (0.6 A) (–, –). These are the DC-1 resistive load curves — don't use them for DC motor or inductive loads without derating. The AC-1 maximum switching frequency is 1,000 cycles/hour; AC-3 and AC-3e max out at 750 cycles/hour; AC-4 drops to 250 cycles/hour (–,). For plugging or inching duty (AC-4), the lower frequency keeps the contact temperature in check.
