What it is and what it does
The 3RT2027-2AK60: Operating temperature covers -25 to +60 °C, so it survives unheated pump houses. Storage down to -55 °C handles winter shipping. The magnet coil uses spring-type terminals — no screwdriver needed, stays tight under vibration. Accepts solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm².
Mounting and dimensions
Width is 45 mm, depth 97 mm, height 102 mm. Mounts via screw or snap-on to 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Position flexibility: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward — handy when retrofitting into a tight panel where the old contactor was oriented oddly. Mechanical life is 10 million operations — realistic for a cycling pump that runs once a day, but for a fast jogging application you'll wear out the contacts before the mechanics.
