SIRIUS S0 Power Contactor — Spring-Terminal Variant
The spring-type terminals on the magnet coil accept solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², with dual-wire capacity for 2x (0.5... 2.5 mm²). Rated for continuous duty across multiple load categories: AC-1 (resistive) at 1,000 operating cycles per hour maximum, AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running) at 750 cycles/h, and AC-4 (plugging/inching) at 250 cycles/h. The auxiliary switch is included, simplifying integration into control circuits without an add-on block.
Panel Fit & Wiring Notes
Dimensions: 45 mm width, 97 mm depth, 102 mm height. The S0 frame size is a standard Siemens contactor footprint, occupying three 45 mm-wide DIN-rail positions typically. Spring-cage terminals eliminate screw-torque variability and speed up wiring. Strip length for solid/stranded conductors follows standard practice for this terminal type (typically 8-10 mm). The arcing time is rated at 10 ms, and the contactor typical mechanical life is 10,000,000 operations.
Auxiliary contact switching capacity at various voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. Also rated at 5 hp at 230 V. These ratings cover the control circuit side — match the load voltage to the appropriate column.
