The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2027-2XG40-0LA2 is a size S0 contactor with a 24 VDC coil and spring-type terminals on the magnet coil, rated for 10 A at 24 VDC and 5 hp at 230 VAC. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715 via screw or snap-on, and fits a 45 mm wide, 102 mm high, 107 mm deep footprint. Clearance needed: 10 mm upwards, forwards, and downwards; 6 mm at the sides. The DC coil drops out with a 30 to 50 ms delay, arcing time is 10 ms. Mechanical life is typical 10 million operations. Compared to the 3RT2326-1BK80 (a larger-frame contactor with higher current ratings and different coil voltage), the 3RT2027-2XG40-0LA2 is a compact S0 unit with a 24 VDC coil. The 3RT2326-1BK80 will not drop into the same DIN-rail footprint or panel cutout without re-spacing; the 3RT2027-2XG40-0LA2 is the correct size for S0-based designs.
Spring-type terminals on the coil accept 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) stranded or 2x (1 to 10 mm²) solid wire. The main contact terminals follow the same range (1 to 10 mm² solid). The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. The auxiliary switch is integrated. For DC switching, the contactor is rated for 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. Maximum operating frequency: 750 operations per hour for AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e; 250 ops/h for AC-4.
