SIRIUS size S0 power contactor with integrated auxiliary switch
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2028-1AV00-0JA0 is a size S0 power contactor with screw-type terminals and an integrated auxiliary switch, rated for 34 A at 480 V. It snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715 and accepts solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm². The 45 mm width fits standard panel layouts; depth is 97 mm, height 85 mm. Ambient operating range is -25 to +50 °C, storage -55 to +80 °C.
Duty-cycle and mechanical endurance
Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical. Maximum switching rates: 1000 cycles/h at AC-1, 750 at AC-2/AC-3/AC-3e, and 250 at AC-4. Arcing time is 10 ms at AC. The contactor can be mounted in any orientation within ±180° rotation and ±22.5° tilt on a vertical surface, with minimum clearances of 10 mm upward/downward/forward and 6 mm at the sides.
