Its headline motor rating is 34 A in AC-3 duty at 480 V — that's the current it can make and break under full-load motor starting conditions, so it handles a 3-phase induction motor up to that line current without welding the contacts or overheating the arc chamber. At 230 V it carries a 5 hp motor load. The coil termination uses spring-type terminals, not screw clamps, which speeds panel wiring and resists loosening under vibration. The main and auxiliary wiring accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², and can take two conductors of 0.5 to 2.5 mm² in a single clamp.
The S0 frame is 45 mm wide, 102 mm tall, 97 mm deep — fits a standard 45 mm slot on the rail. Clearance: 10 mm above, below, and forward; 6 mm to the side.
Switching performance and endurance
Rated for up to 1,000 switching cycles per hour in AC-1 resistive duty, 750 cycles/h in AC-2 and AC-3 motor duty, and 250 cycles/h in the severe AC-4 plugging/reversing duty. Arcing time at AC is 4 to 16 ms.
Environmental and auxiliary ratings
The auxiliary switch is present and rated for switching at various control voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48/60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.6 A at 440 V. Coil holding power at 50 Hz is 0.25 W.
