SIRIUS 3RT2028-2XG40-0LA2 — DC Coil Contactor, Size S0
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2028-2XG40-0LA2 is a Size S0 contactor with a 125 VDC coil, spring-type terminals on the magnet coil, and an integrated auxiliary switch. Rated for switching loads up to 10 A at 24 VDC, 2 A at 48 VDC and 60 VDC, 1 A at 110 VDC, 0.9 A at 125 VDC, and 0.3 A at 220 VDC. On AC loads, it handles 5 hp at 230 V and 3 A at 400 V. Mechanical life is rated at 10,000,000 operating cycles.
Mounting and Integration
Fastens via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715. Mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5°. Requires 10 mm clearance upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. Dimensions: 45 mm wide, 102 mm high, 107 mm deep — fits standard S0 footprint in a control panel.

Operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. DC dropout time is 30 to 50 ms; arcing time is 10 to 10 ms. Switching frequency: 750 operations per hour for AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty; 250 per hour for AC-4. Main contacts accept 2x (1 to 10 mm²) solid; auxiliary contacts accept 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded. Initial pickup factor is 0.7; full-scale value is 1.25.
