SIRIUS Size S0 Power Contactor — 3RT2028-4AP60
An integrated auxiliary switch provides feedback for status indication or interlocking without needing a separate add-on block.
Ratings and Switching Performance
Rated for 34 A at 480 V, 60 Hz — this is the AC-3 motor switching current, meaning it handles the locked-rotor inrush during starting and the running current under load. Switching frequency: up to 1 000 operations per hour at AC-1 resistive loads, 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 motor loads, and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching) — the AC-4 limit is the one that governs heavy-duty jogging applications. Arcing time is 10...10 ms — a tight window that helps with contactor life and coordination with upstream protection. Coil connection uses a ring cable lug — ensure your control wiring terminates with the correct ring terminal size for reliable connection. Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48/60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.6 A at 440 V, 2 A at 500 V — the 24 V rating is what most PLC outputs will drive; the higher-voltage ratings drop off significantly, so size your pilot circuits accordingly.
Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C during operation, with storage from -55 to +80 °C — the operating limit is the one that matters for enclosure ambient; if your panel hits 60 °C internally, you're at the edge.
