The Siemens 3RT2035-1AC20-ZX95 is a SIRIUS S2 power contactor with a 24 V 50/60 Hz coil drawing 0.36 A at 50 Hz and 0.39 A at 60 Hz. It carries 40 A at 480 V under AC-3e duty — that's the motor-switching rating that governs real-world sizing for three-phase induction motors up to 7.5 hp at 230 V. The coil terminals are screw-type; main and auxiliary contacts are also screw-terminated.

Accepts 2× (0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75–2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire per terminal. The S2 frame size is the same physical footprint as the 3RT2036, so a swap between the two requires no panel rework — only the coil voltage and current rating differ.
