SIRIUS S2 power contactor — 3RT2035-1AF00-ZX95
The Siemens 3RT2035-1AF00-ZX95 is a SIRIUS S2-size power contactor with screw-type coil terminals and an integrated auxiliary switch block (1 NO + 1 NC). It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, occupying 55 mm of panel width at 114 mm height and 130 mm depth. Rated for motor switching at 480 V, 40 A, it handles a 7.5 hp load at 230 V.
Ratings and operating envelope
The contactor is rated for AC-1 resistive loads at 1 200 cycles/hour, AC-2 at 750 cycles/hour, AC-3 motor switching at 1 000 cycles/hour, and AC-4 plugging/reversing at 300 cycles/hour. The AC-3e rating matches the standard AC-3 at 1 000 cycles/hour. These figures define the thermal duty cycle for continuous production — exceeding them shortens contact life.
