Panel-fit and mounting
Its 55 mm width and 114 mm height leave a compact footprint; the 174 mm depth accounts for the arc chamber and coil terminals.
Rated 40 A at 480 V — that is the AC-3 motor-switching current, the figure that governs real induction-motor duty. The contactor also carries 1 200 operations/hour at AC-1 (resistive) and 1 000 ops/hour at AC-3, so it keeps pace with a fast cycling conveyor or pump. Coil terminals are screw-type, rated for 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded.
Coil and auxiliary notes
No auxiliary switch block fitted as standard — the contactor ships with main contacts only (18…1 configuration). Coil pick-up time is 10…18 ms at AC; arcing time runs 10…20 ms. For a molding-cell application, the 24 V DC coil draw is 6 A rated, which holds the zone without overloading a 24 VDC power supply.
