Mounting and integration
The 3RT2035-1AL20-1AA0: Mounts via screw fixing or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Intended for standing position on a horizontal mounting surface. Dimensions: 55 mm wide, 114 mm high, 130 mm deep. Clearance spacing: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the sides — these are the minimum air gaps to adjacent components for heat dissipation and arc clearance.
Switching performance and ratings
Rated for AC-3 motor switching at up to 1 000 operating cycles per hour (at AC-3 maximum), with AC-4 maximum at 300 cycles/hour for reversing or inching duty. The auxiliary contact block is rated for switching at various voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.6 A at 440 V, and 40 A at 480 V — these are the make/break capacities for the auxiliary circuit, not the main contactor rating. The main contactor's own AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-4 ratings are defined by the operating cycle limits above.
Environmental and operating range
Operating temperature: -25 to +60 °C during operation; storage range: -55 to +80 °C. The mechanical endurance of the contactor is rated at 10 000 000 operating cycles typical. Arcing time is 10 to 20 ms; the main contacts have a closing time of 10 to 18 ms at AC.
