Coil and Switching Performance
The 24 V DC coil draws a 2.6 A inrush peak and holds with a typical pickup/dropout time of 30 to 55 ms. Arcing time runs 10 to 20 ms. Switching capacity at 24 V DC is rated 10 A, with derated values at higher voltages: 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. At 230 V AC the contactor handles 7.5 hp motor loads.
Mechanical Life and Operating Cycles
Maximum operating cycles per hour vary by duty: 1 200 at AC-1, 750 at AC-2, 1 000 at AC-3 and AC-3e, and 300 at AC-4.
Mounting position is standing on a horizontal surface. Main contact wiring accepts 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm² or 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded conductors.
