The coil accepts a wide control voltage range of 175 to 280 V AC/DC, drawing 2 VA at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with an inrush current peak of 5 A. This broad pickup range suits installations where control supply stability is uncertain — the coil holds in above 80% of rated voltage (0.8 initial value) and releases below that threshold. Switching frequency depends on the load duty: up to 1,000 operations per hour at AC-1 (resistive), 800/h at AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting), 600/h at AC-2 (slip-ring motor), and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating matches the AC-3 maximum at 800/h. Arcing time runs 10 to 20 ms, with make and break times both in the 30 to 55 ms range for AC and DC.
