The Siemens 3RT2036-3AL20-Z W96 is a size S2 power contactor rated AC-3e/AC-3 at 51 A, delivering 22 kW at 400 V for three-phase induction motors. The 230 V AC coil (50/60 Hz) pulls in cleanly; the 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact block is built in, so no add-on module is needed for basic feedback or interlocking. Main circuit uses screw terminals; the control and auxiliary circuit uses spring-loaded terminals — a mixed termination scheme that saves wiring time on the control side while keeping power connections serviceable.
