The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2036-3EL20 is a Size S2 power contactor rated 52 A at 480 V in AC-3 duty — that's the motor-switching current, so it handles a 30 hp motor at 480 V three-phase without derating. The spring-type terminals on the coil and the main/auxiliary contacts accept 2x (0.5...2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, which saves panel-builder time versus screw clamps and stays tight under vibration. Mounting is screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward, so it fits tight enclosures without a special bracket.
