Coil voltage and what it drives
The 3RT2037-1NB30-1AA0 carries a rated coil voltage of 20 to 33 V, covering both AC and DC supplies. That means a single part works across a 24 V nominal control bus without worrying about AC vs DC coil burn-out. Inrush current peaks at 3 A, then the holding power settles to 2 VA at both 50 and 60 Hz. This is a standard SIRIUS S2 contactor — the coil draw is low enough that a small 24 VDC power supply can drive it without oversizing.
Duty-cycle limits for real loads
Switching frequency depends on the duty class: AC-1 (resistive) allows up to 800 operations per hour, AC-3 (motor start/run) allows 700 per hour, and AC-4 (plugging/inching) drops to 200 per hour. The AC-3e rating also sits at 700 per hour, matching the standard AC-3 figure. Main contact ratings span from 18 A down to 1 A depending on the voltage and duty — at 24 V rated value the contact carries 10 A, while at 220 V it drops to 0.3 A.
