Panel fit and mounting
The 3RT2038-1AK60-ZX95: Mounts via screw or snap-on onto standard 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The 55 mm width and 114 mm height leave room for side-by-side contactors in a crowded enclosure; depth is 130 mm, so check gland-plate clearance. Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — handy when you're working around existing wireways.
Switching performance and coil
Main contacts use screw-type terminals; the coil connections are also screw terminals. Arcing time runs 10–20 ms, with an AC switching time of 10–18 ms — fast enough for most motor starts. Mechanical life is rated at 10 million operations typical, so it'll outlast the panel refresh cycle in a normal line.
