Rated for AC-3 duty at up to 1 000 operating cycles per hour, and AC-4 at 300 cycles per hour — the AC-4 figure is the one to watch for plugging or inching applications where the contactor makes and breaks stalled rotor current. AC-1 resistive loads can run at 900 cycles per hour. The arcing time spans 10 to 20 ms.
Termination and auxiliary contacts
Main circuit terminals accept solid conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm², or stranded from 6 to 70 mm². The magnet coil uses screw-type terminals. Auxiliary contacts are present, with a rated switching capacity of 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. The main contacts have a rated operational current at AC-3e of up to 1 000 cycles per hour.
