Mounting and wiring
The 3RT2045-1AP60: Mount it screw-and-snap onto 35 mm DIN rail. Clearances: 10 mm upwards, downwards, and to the side; 20 mm forward. Ambient operating range -25 to +60 °C; storage takes -55 to +80 °C. Wire terminals accept solid from 2.5 to 16 mm², stranded from 6 to 70 mm²—big enough for the power feeds without needing pin lugs on most panel builds. The control circuit (coil) takes 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded.
Lifecycle and sourcing
If you're planning a panel variant, the S3 frame size is shared with other amps in the 3RT2 family. The auxiliary contact block integrates on the front. No known substitution without verifying the current spec—this one is sized at the S3 frame.
