Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2045-3AG20 Power Contactor
The 140 mm height, 70 mm width, and 152 mm depth define the DIN-rail footprint — leave at least 10 mm clearance to adjacent devices on all sides for airflow and arc containment.
Main circuit terminals accept solid conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm² or stranded from 6 to 70 mm². The auxiliary circuit takes 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded. Spring-type terminals on the coil side reduce wiring time — no screw torque to verify.
Contact Ratings and Duty Cycles
The auxiliary contact block switches up to 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V or 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. At 230 V it carries a 15 hp motor load. Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 900 cycles/hour for AC-1 resistive loads, 400 for AC-2, 1000 for AC-3 and AC-3e, and 300 for AC-4. Arcing time is 10 to 20 ms; opening time at AC is 10 to 21 ms.
Minimum clearance to adjacent parts: 10 mm upward, 20 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 10 mm sideways.
