Envelope and wiring
The 3RT2046-1NP34: Dimensions are 70 mm wide, 140 mm high, 195 mm deep. Main circuit accepts solid conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm² or stranded from 6 to 70 mm². Coil terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²).
Coil and switching performance
Coil operating range is 175-280 V AC/DC, with a pickup threshold of 0.8 x rated value and a dropout of 1.1 x full-scale value. Inrush current peaks at 65 A. Sealing current at 50/60 Hz is 3.5 VA. Operate and release times are 38-57 ms for both AC and DC; arcing time is 10-20 ms. Maximum switching rates: 900 ops/h at AC-1, 350 at AC-2, 850 at AC-3/AC-3e, 250 at AC-4.
