SIRIUS S3 power contactor for motor switching
The S3 frame is the middle of the SIRIUS contactor range, sized for motors in the 45–55 kW ballpark at 400 V, depending on the exact duty cycle. The standing position on a horizontal surface is the specified orientation. Panel integration is straightforward — the 70 mm width and 140 mm height leave room for a thermal overload relay alongside on the rail.
The AC-3 switching frequency is rated at 850 operations per hour maximum. AC-4 (plugging / inching) drops to 200 ops/h. Its contact ratings cover the common control voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. Wire range is generous: solid conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm², stranded from 6 to 70 mm². Depth is 152 mm.

No IP rating is listed, so it is intended for enclosure mounting, not open washdown.
