It includes an integrated auxiliary switch, and its 70 mm width, 195 mm depth, and 140 mm height define the panel footprint for this size class.
Duty-cycle and switching frequency
Switching frequency depends on the duty category: AC-1 (resistive) allows up to 900 operations per hour, AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor start/run) allows 850 1/h, while AC-4 (plugging/inching) is limited to 200 1/h. The AC-3e maximum matches the AC-3 figure at 850 1/h.
Main contact terminals accept solid conductors from 2.5 to 16 mm² and stranded conductors from 6 to 70 mm². The magnet coil uses screw-type terminals. Auxiliary contact wiring accepts two conductors per terminal: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²).
The contactor is rated for 10 million typical mechanical operations.
The integrated auxiliary switch is rated at 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. At 230 V the rating is 20 hp.
