Integrator's first look
The Siemens 3RT2325-1AG20 is a SIRIUS size S0 contactor with an AC coil rated at 110 V at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. Coil termination is screw-type, and the main contacts are rated for switching up to 10 A at 24 V and 10 A at 230 V — the same current at both voltages, which simplifies sizing across control and power circuits. Mechanical life is typical 10 million operations, so it's built for high-cycle applications like conveyor or pump control.
Mounting and clearance
Mounts via screw fixing or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The mounting position is flexible: +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm at the sides. The 85 mm height, 60 mm width, and 97 mm depth fit standard S0 panel cutouts.
Terminal and wiring
Main contact terminals accept stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm², and solid wire in two ranges: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). The auxiliary switch is present, and the coil is screw-type. Arcing time is 10 to 10 ms (AC), with an AC arcing range of 4 to 16 ms.
Switching ratings across voltages
Rated switching currents at various AC voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 6 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 10 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 500 V, and 0.1 A at 600 V. The 230 V rating matches the 24 V rating, which is unusual — most contactors derate at higher voltages. This part holds its current up to 230 V, then drops off.
