SIRIUS S0 contactor, 110 V DC coil
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2325-1BF40 is a size S0 contactor with a 110 V DC magnet coil and screw-type terminals, designed for screw and snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The 110 V DC coil holds at nominal voltage and drops out reliably; the DC pick-up and drop-out times are 15 to 18 ms, with an arcing time of 10 ms. Mechanical endurance is rated at 10,000,000 operating cycles typical, suited for high-cycle applications like conveyor or pump control.
Mounting and integration
The S0 frame measures 85 mm high, 60 mm wide, and 107 mm deep, fitting standard panel layouts. Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Clearance distances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. The contactor accepts solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for auxiliary circuits; main contacts accept stranded 1 to 10 mm². An auxiliary switch block is attachable (2 positions), expanding the contactor's signal feedback capability.

The auxiliary contacts are rated for switching across a wide voltage range: 10 A at 24 V DC, 2 A at 48 V DC, 6 A at 60 V DC, 1 A at 110 V DC, 0.9 A at 125 V DC, 0.3 A at 220 V DC, 10 A at 230 V AC, 3 A at 400 V AC, 2 A at 500 V AC, 0.1 A at 600 V AC, and 1 A at 690 V AC.
Environmental range
Operating temperature is -25 to +60 °C; storage temperature spans -55 to +80 °C, covering most industrial enclosure environments.
