It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface plus +/-22.5° tilt forward and backward. The coil draws 0.25 A at 50 Hz (230 V), and the contactor is rated for a mechanical life of 10,000,000 operations typical.
The contactor carries one instantaneous auxiliary contact (NO/NC configurable) rated at 10 A at 24 V, 10 A at 230 V, and derated at higher voltages — 3 A at 400 V, 1 A at 690 V — so the auxiliary circuit can handle pilot duty up to 690 V but current drops sharply above 230 V. Main contact wiring accepts solid conductors 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and stranded conductors 1 to 10 mm² — sized for typical motor branch circuits up to the S0 frame rating. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage -55 to +80 °C, so it handles standard industrial enclosures without derating for ambient heat up to 60 °C.
No official successor has been announced for this order code; the SIRIUS 3RT2 series remains the current platform for Size S0 contactors.
