SIRIUS S0 Contactor with 110 VDC Coil
The Siemens 3RT2326-1BF40 is a SIRIUS S0-frame contactor with a 110 VDC magnet coil terminated at screw-type terminals. It carries an integrated auxiliary switch block (1 NC + 1 NO) and accepts up to two additional attachable auxiliary contact blocks for expanded signaling or interlocking. Rated for main contact duty at 16 A through 8 A depending on utilization category, this contactor is sized for motor loads up to 7.5 kW at 400 V AC-3. The DC coil pulls in reliably at 0.8 × rated voltage (88 VDC minimum pick-up) and holds through the full 1.1 × rated voltage over-range. Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The S0 footprint (85 mm high × 60 mm wide × 107 mm deep) fits standard panel layouts; clearance requirements are 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, and 6 mm to the side.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings Across Voltages
The built-in auxiliary contacts are rated for a wide range of control voltages: 10 A at 24 VDC, 6 A at 60 VDC, 1 A at 110 VDC, 0.9 A at 125 VDC, 0.3 A at 220 VDC, and 0.1 A at 600 VDC. On the AC side, they handle 10 A at 230 VAC and 3 A at 400 VAC. This covers most PLC output and relay interface loads without derating. Mechanical endurance is rated at 10 million operating cycles typical, consistent with the SIRIUS platform's expected service life for high-cycling applications like conveyor or packaging machinery.
Environmental and Wiring Details
Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range extends from -55 to +80 °C. The contactor can be mounted in any orientation within ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and can be tilted forward or backward by ±22.5° — useful when fitting into tight gland-plate zones. Main circuit terminals accept stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm². Auxiliary and coil terminals accept solid wire 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). The DC coil dropout time is 15 to 18 ms; arcing time is 10 ms.
