What it is and where it lands
The Siemens 3RT2326-2AK60 is a SIRIUS contactor in the S0 frame size, built for switching motor loads and resistive loads in control panels. It carries a 24 V AC coil and spring-type terminals on both the coil and main contacts — no screw torque to check, no loose strands to chase. The S0 frame is the mid-size in the SIRIUS family, sized for motors up to about 7.5 kW at 400 V AC-3 (typical for pumps, fans, and small conveyors). Mounting is screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when the panel layout forces an odd angle. Clearance around the contactor: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side.
Coil and auxiliary contact ratings
Coil is AC-rated at 50 Hz (110 V) and 60 Hz (120 V) — the 24 V AC coil on this variant is the control voltage. The auxiliary contacts (built-in, not a separate block) carry a range of rated currents depending on voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 10 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 500 V, and 0.1 A at 600 V. That spread covers most control-circuit needs across standard line voltages. Arcing time is 10 to 10 ms — essentially a fixed 10 ms. The auxiliary switch is present and uses spring-type terminals, same as the main contacts. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C.
